The No:1 rule for your bridal appointment...

Have fun!

Yes buying your wedding is a serious purchase and it can be one that comes with a lot of pressure to get it right but your appointment doesnt have to be super strict, serious and boring.

I’ve said it before; when you are researching your wedding dress and looking for where to shop, you should be looking for a boutique that feels like you, feels like you would vibe with the stylists/owners, somewhere that you know that even just walking through the door, you would instantly feel comfortable, you would feel calm in your surroundings and more importantly excited for what’s about to happen.

Honestly, if at any point in your appointment or even in your communications before the appointment, if you feel bored… trust that gut!

Trust me when I say, I will always be just as excited for your wedding day as you are, possibly even more sometimes, especially when you tell me you’ve booked that dream team of suppliers, I will immediatley start imagining what your photos are going to look like and visualising you in your wedding dress; so apologies in advance if my excitement is a little overwhelming!

Just a small side note, more entourage doesn’t mean more fun, full transparency, your appointment will be a lot more fun and successful with a smaller, more intimate group. Just 1 or 2 maybe of your nearest and dearest. Doesn’t have to be mum, to be honest it doesnt have to be anyone, I’m always here for all the moral support if you need me.

Just over the years in my experience, more bodies at the appointment, more voices and their opinions tends to equal less fun, this is what bridesmaids, hen party, bridal shower shopping is for.

So anyway if you haven’t yet booked your appointment, get yourself in the diary and find out for yourself how fun wedding dress shopping can be!

All my love
