Hannah in Charlotte Balbier Jayde & her fun, relaxed, countryside wedding.
While #realbride inspiration is few and far between, I thought I would have a trawl through the archives (only 2019 but an actual full lifetime ago!) and bring you some of my beautiful brides and their gorgeous wedding days…
I’m so pleased to be able to share Hannah and Josh’s intimate wedding with you, which took place at the Groom’s family home in the Norfolk countryside.
Hannah wore a beautiful Charlotte Balbier wedding dress; she paired her gown with one of my favourite Helen Martin Veils, which made a beautifully elegant statement in the surroundings of the church. Hannah finished the look with a fabulous denim jacket, and the perfect pastel bouquet.

Where was the wedding?
We got married in Church and then had our reception at Hill House in the Norfolk countryside. It is Josh's family home and a place that holds a lot of wonderful memories for me. I wanted to make the day as personal and as intimate as possible, I wanted the day to feel like we were just inviting family and friends around for a garden party.
Why was your dress 'the one?'
My dress was the beautiful Jayde from the gorgeous Charlotte Balbier. When I walked into the boutique, I wasn't looking for a dress like this, and Jayde was a dress that Victoria had suggested for me to try. As I tried it on, a song that myself and my husband associate with came on. I felt different, I felt beautiful and elegant, which I normally never feel. I kept the styling of the dress as simple as possible, I just added only a few tiny extras to go with my Melissa Morgan pearl flower hair pins. The dress spoke for herself.
The dress helped me exude the beauty I didn't know I had.
How was your dress shopping experience?
It was amazing. Just Victoria was so accommodating for me, especially as my family live abroad so she helped me incredibly and made me feel beautiful.
What was the 'best bit' of your day?
Does the whole thing count? I have so many moments - I loved when Josh first saw me come down the aisle, but I also loved waking up with my family and taking photos with the bridesmaids and groomsmen, being with Josh alone for our own wedding pictures... Being in the van driving back to the venue as official husband and wife... I never really get to see them all together in one, so seeing them and sharing this special moment for me and my husband.
What’s your one piece of advice for future brides?
Go with your heart and your gut, of course advice is always welcome, but at the end of the day, its about you and your special someone. What makes a wedding special is making sure it's about you and your partner.
Celebrate your love, and make sure it is as personal and relatable as you can.
